Live, Interactive Video Sessions
PresenceLearning has created an online environment specifically built to deliver live online speech therapy sessions. PresenceLearning combines high-fidelity videoconferencing with a huge library of evidence-based interactive activities, enabling SLPs to set-up and deliver a session that is specifically tailored to each student’s needs. Using PresenceLearning, SLPs and students interact in real-time to work on speech-language goals.
Ability to Conduct Group Sessions
PresenceLearning enables SLPs to conduct 1-on-1 sessions as well as group sessions with up to 4 students at a time.
Access to Content
PresenceLearning’s web-based library of materials contains online versions of the time-tested activities and games typically utilized by SLPs in traditional face-to-face therapy sessions. SLPs have access to a vast library of games, worksheets, books and videos. They can also modify existing activities, add their own favorite materials and share their creations with the entire PresenceLearning SLP community. The PresenceLearning screen-sharing tool lets SLPs and students share a wide range of web-based resources.
Observe Close-up
Close-up images are essential for modeling and observing placement for proper sound production. With PresenceLearning, SLPs can expand the normal-sized webcam video image to nearly full-screen with the simple click of a button.
Delivering 120,000 Sessions a Year
During the 2012-2013 school year, PresenceLearning will deliver 120,000 “anytime anywhere” live video sessions.
Administration’s Portal
A portal for school administrators illustrates student data with monthly snapshots of students’ progress, therapy delivery rates, IEP meeting statuses, and delivery quality reports, site-by-site or across the district.
Parent Portal
Much like the administrator’s portal, the parent’s portal presents an aggregate overview of their student’s progress at achieving IEP goal outcomes. Parents gain unparalleled access to data regarding their child’s therapy: IEP due dates, therapy hours delivered or owed, NOMS scores, progress data, and session notes.
Quality SLPs
PresenceLearning contracts with a large and growing nationwide network of fully licensed, highly experienced SLPs. PresenceLearning SLPs are rigorously screened for their clinical experience, licenses, and qualifications. All PresenceLearning SLPs have masters level degrees from accredited US programs, valid SLP licenses, their ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, and familiarity with IDEA and related special education regulatory guidelines.
Monitoring, Supervision, Quality Control
Our team of clinical supervisors, along with our in-house clinical team, continuously monitors and assesses the work of PresenceLearning SLPs. They preserve PresenceLearning’s high standard of service by communicating weekly with assigned SLPs, gathering updates on student progress, reviewing session notes, and regularly monitoring live sessions.
